The new bike is an update of the previous version and in no way a completely overhauled version. The bike comes equipped with an updated infallible C-ABS braking system. Which was tested out properly at the launch by Honda WSBK rider Leon Haslam's dad Ron Haslam, at a very wet Donington Park.

The repackaged CBR features new 41mm Big Piston Forks, a remapped ECU for improved mid and upper-range engine performance, plus a pair of Fireblade-style 12-spoke ally wheels -- modifications that Honda hope will improve the CBR's performance on both road and track. The motorcycle though still does not have traction control or different riding modes.

this bike looks dated.... speically from the rear. and from the previous outgoing model the only change is the fairing.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

The CBR though not electronically laden with features is one of the best machine out there for real world driving & is very rider friendly.

Plus I like any machine that's less on electronics & demands a set of better skills.

Would like this in our country at an reasonable price tag. Waiting patiently Honda.

Th!!The last 600 rr was sexier in looks though.... Only if the fairing change had technical aspects to it, it will be appreciated. Don't know how will this fair on the market. Looks like mustang bike or something.

The fairing change does have a technical perspective - Honda claim they redesigned their air intake and the new design reduces drag (sic). And speaking of looks, I personally like the new 'flat' headlamps over the previous ones - again, a subjective matter.

Design is subjective, but I quite like the new design and the headlamps too. The 600's are on the list of many bikers across the country but it just continues to remain there
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

Hondas should come to India with several other models too. That too via CKU process. Because 11+laks for Cbr1000r and 20 for VFr seems too hefty.
CBR 600r still being as a dream for several to buy should be available in India at reasonable cost.

+1...they should follow Harley's methods, set up the production of high-end models in India, considering their high demand in India. The VFR had always been one of my dream machines - but it's twice as expensive as a Hayabusa!
