February 12, 2022, Mr. Rahul Bajaj, former chairman of Bajaj Auto, passed away today in Pune. He was not well and was admitted in a hospital for many days now.



Besides being a heavyweight industrialist and one of the biggest hands that shaped Indian 2-wheeler Industry, he was also the recipient of third highest civilian award Padam Bhushan and was also a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house in the Indian Parliament. He is survived by his son Rajiv Bajaj and Sanjiv Bajaj .
