  • KTM RC Cup Delhi concludes with participation from 100+ racers

    KTM entered the third leg of the KTM RC Cup at the Kartomania - Go Karting Gurugram. The RC Cup is a part of KTM Pro-XPs endeavour. The registration for the Delhi championship was brisk, and around 100 + racers experienced the thrill of riding the ‘Ready to Race’ KTM RC 390 GP to the finish line. The top 10 fastest lap times selected for the Qualifier round were – Arvind Kumar, Sudheer Sudhakar, Shekhar Tyagi, Prikshit Sharma, Mukul Kapoor, Mantavya Sharma Himanshu, Tanmay, Shivam and Seshadhri selected.





    The RC Cup will move to its next leg in Ranchi this weekend for selections, followed by four more towns;
    • Selections: Race Academy and Selections across Cities – Ranchi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Chennai
    • Qualifiers: The top 10 from each of the eight cities will contest in the Qualifiers held in Chennai
    • Finale: The top racers from the Qualifiers will race at the Finale of the KTM RC Cup

    The top 3 winners of the KTM RC Cup will win a visit to the global HQ of KTM in Austria, and the prize includes:
    • Training with the Race Director in Austria
    • Interaction with KTM Factory Racing athletes
    • Watch a MotoGP race live at the Red Bull ring
    • Visit the prestigious KTM Motohall

    Jeremy McWilliams will direct the race, an ex-MotoGP racer with two podium finishes in the 500cc class and a win in the 250cc class. Emmanuel Jebaraj, a seven-time National INMRC Champion and the founder of Gusto Racing, India, will support the race.

    Speaking on occasion, Mr Sumeet Narang, President (Probiking) at Bajaj Auto Ltd., said, “Racing has been the core DNA of KTM and has helped us connect with many racing enthusiasts across the country. The KTM RC Cup reaffirms our motorsport credentials in India. We were excited to get this third leg of the RC Cup to Delhi. I want to take this moment to congratulate the top 10 riders and welcome them to be a part of our qualifiers in Chennai. The KTM RC Cup is something that goes across the country, hunts for the best racers, provide them with the right training and rewards the best. With the super-charged Delhi tourney, where we witnessed enthusiastic participation, we look forward to getting all KTM India fans READY TO RACE!”
