  • TVS Racing gears up for the second edition of TVS Asia OMC

TVS Racing is back with the second edition of the TVS Asia OMC. Following its dominance in domestic two-wheeler racing, TVS Racing is now geared up to host the second edition of its flagship racing event this year which in line with last year will be held alongside the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC).

Backed by four decades of racing pedigree, last year’s championship demonstrated the prowess of TVS Motor’s flagship motorcycle - TVS Apache RR 310 as it created a milestone for TVS Racing, setting a new top speed record of 211.2 km/h in its class at Chang International Circuit, Thailand. The team also achieved the best lap timing of 1:50.850, breaking all its previous records on the TVS Asia OMC RR 310, based on the TVS Apache RR 310.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company said, “After the grand success of the maiden TVS Asia One Make Championship, we are thrilled to announce the second edition of the event, and discover new racing talents. With top-class racing talent, state-of-the-art machinery, and a highly competitive environment, the championship is set to display some exciting performances in the two-wheeler racing arena. Extending its commitment for excellence, TVS Racing continues to push the boundaries of Indian motorsports and inspire the next generation of riders, and we wish the entire TVS Racing team and its racers the very best for this upcoming season.”

In order to display a stronger feat at the championship, the TVS Racing team has worked on the race bike’s components to improve reliability for consistent performance.
