
PETRONAS TVS India One Make Championship is one of country’s premier racing platforms and has been shaping India’s motorsport landscape by discovering and training emerging talent. The championship provides expert mentorship and national-level exposure, helping racers refine their skills and advance Indian motorsports.

Safety remains a top priority, with participants equipped with high-standard gear, including Alpinestar airbag jackets, FIM-certified helmets, and FIM-spec racing suits, along with personalized race-tuned machines. Since its inception in 1994, over 3000 participants have competed in TVS India OMC, reinforcing TVS Racing’s leadership in developing talent.
TVS One Make Championship – Category Overview
- TVS Rookie OMC (Launched in 2022): Designed as an entry point for young and aspiring racers, the Rookie Category allows riders to gain hands-on experience on race-spec TVS Apache RTR 200 motorcycles. Since its launch, over 100 riders have benefited from this initiative.
- TVS RR310 OMC (Launched in 2018): Designed for experienced racers, this category features the high-performance TVS Apache RR 310 race bike. Over 300 racers have participated in this program, with many progressing to national and international championships.
- TVS Young Media Racer Program (YMRP): Launched in 2017, YMRP offers young automotive and motorsports journalists, along with influencers, a firsthand racing experience. Participants undergo rigorous training, covering both theory and practice, before competing on race-spec TVS Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycles. This initiative sharpens their riding skills, deepens their understanding of motorsports, and reinforces TVS Racing’s commitment to nurturing talent within the media community.
- TVS Women’s OMC (Launched in 2016): TVS Racing became the first Indian manufacturer to introduce an exclusive racing platform for women, promoting gender inclusivity in motorsports. With over 500 trained riders, the initiative provides expert coaching and race-prepped TVS Apache RTR 200 motorcycles.
With over 400,000 riders in the Apache Owners Group (AOG), TVS Apache has built a passionate global community, bringing the thrill of racing to streets and track enthusiasts alike.
