  • EICMA 2025 :: Kawasaki Z650 S, improved ergonomics and tech

    The 2026 Kawasaki Z650 has been enhanced with an “S,” which stands for... Stunning, Style, Stage, or Spotlight: a new interpretation of the Z character by the Akashi manufacturer. With a more muscular look, the Z650 S also offers improved ergonomics. The footpegs have been repositioned, the new “fat-type” handlebar ensures a more natural riding position, and the seats have been completely redesigned.

    In detail, the wider and more padded front seat is paired with a more comfortable passenger seat (+20 mm in width and +10 mm in padding). Kawasaki also offers two optional variants: the Style seat and the Ergo-Fit seat, which is 20 mm lower.

    Still powered by the 649 cm³ parallel twin engine, but now combined with KTRC traction control as standard, the bike is equipped with a new 4.3” TFT colour display and now includes a quick shifter among its optional accessories for even faster gear changes. Three colour schemes are available: Ebony/Metallic Carbon Grey; Candy Lime Green/Metallic Carbon Grey; and Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey/Metallic Flat Spark Black.
