Yamaha introduces the Legend Yellow livery for the XSR900 GP 2026, paying homage to the YZR500s that won the GP in the 1970s and 1980s. At the helm was Kenny Roberts, the first American world champion, who won three titles in the 500cc class. A true legend of AMA racing, thanks to memorable performances such as the 1975 Indy Mile, Roberts spent 13 years with Yamaha.



The XSR900 GP is a perfect blend of historical memory and current technology, with every detail evoking Yamaha's tradition and passion for racing. The new Legend Yellow version combines yellow and white colours, enhanced by the famous black speedblocks, for those who want to experience the legend firsthand.

The technical base is confirmed: 890cc CP3 3-cylinder engine delivering 119 hp. The Yamaha XSR900 GP in Legend Yellow will be available from May 2026, alongside the Legend Red version.
