The Akashi-based manufacturer adds a "Z" to the top of its Supernaked range, or rather two: the new Z1100 and its more refined version, the Z1100 SE. The design remains faithful to the “Sugomi” language, with taut, aggressive lines; the riding position has been improved thanks to wider, forward-mounted handlebars. The 1,099 cc inline four-cylinder engine benefits from new intake ducts, optimised cams and pistons: it develops 136 hp and 113 Nm of torque.



The Z1100's chassis relies on a 41 mm SFF-BP fork and a horizontal back-link monoshock, while the braking system features monoblock callipers and 310 mm discs. The Z1110 SE differs in its Brembo braking system with radial-mount monoblock callipers, dedicated discs, and steel braided lines. Added to this is the Öhlins S46 monoshock with adjustable preload via a knob.

The electronics package includes ride-by-wire, cruise control, bidirectional quickshifter, and a 6-axis IMU inertial platform, with advanced systems such as Cornering Management (KCMF), Traction Control (KTRC), and integrated braking (KIBS). There are four riding modes: Sport, Road, Rain, and customizable Rider. The instrumentation features a 5" colour TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation and smartphone connectivity via the Kawasaki Rideology app.
