Kawasaki updates the Ninja ZX-10R with targeted interventions on aerodynamics, electronics and chassis. The 998 cc inline four-cylinder, now Euro 5+ compliant with second O2 sensor, is confirmed. The main novelty are the new wings, which increase downforce by 25% for greater stability and precision in corners.
The Showa BFF and BFRC lite suspensions remain, but with optimized settings, just as some frame geometries have been revised. In addition, the Öhlins steering damper is now standard also on the ZX-10R, and not only on the RR destined for racing, which can also boast Pankl titanium connecting rods and Pankl pistons.
The front braking system remains entrusted to Brembo M50 calipers, 330 mm discs and radial master cylinder, while Bridgestone Battlax RS12 tires debut as original equipment. The new 5” color TFT display introduces voice commands and turn-by-turn navigation, and can be connected via Bluetooth to the phone thanks to the Rideology app.
