The Yamaha R7 2026 takes mid-range Supersport to a new level of technical and dynamic evolution. Thanks to the introduction of the 6-axis IMU, derived from the R1, a complete electronic package makes its debut. It features: traction control, slide control, anti-wheelie, engine brake management, brake control, and launch control, all configurable and linked to the YRC riding modes.
The 689 cc CP2 engine is now managed by the Y-CCT electronic throttle, with a smoother and more linear response. A lighter and stiffer frame, adjustable fork, and SpinForged wheels improve agility and precision. The riding position is more accessible, with a lower seat and new R1 footpegs.
Connectivity is enhanced thanks to the Y-TRAC Rev App, which records telemetry data and communicates with the rider via Virtual Pit Board. With a more aerodynamic design and racing DNA, the 2026 R7 is the most intelligent and complete Supersport bike ever built by Yamaha.
