Triumph Motorcycles celebrates a landmark achievement for the Daytona 660, which has secured its first-ever victory in the FIM Sportbike World Championship.
The breakthrough win came during the fifth round of the championship at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy, where home rider Bruno Ieraci powered his CM Triumph Factory Racing Daytona 660 to a memorable victory. The result marks a significant milestone for the Daytona 660, which has demonstrated strong performance throughout the championship season, consistently challenging at the front and securing multiple podium finishes.
Starting from seventh on the grid, Leraci fought his way through the field with a determined ride, taking the lead midway through the race before holding off intense competition to claim victory. The success was further reinforced during the weekend with another podium finish for the Daytona 660, as PHR Performance Triumph rider Fenton Seabright secured third place in Race 2.
The victory underlines the Daytona 660's growing reputation as a highly capable middleweight sport motorcycle, both on the racetrack and on the road. Powered by Triumph's characterful 660cc triple-cylinder engine, the Daytona 660 combines strong performance, agile handling and everyday usability, making it an exciting choice for riders seeking a versatile sports motorcycle.
