Modball, India's premier automotive adventure expedition, today flagged off its fourth season from New Delhi, marking the start of a landmark drive from Delhi to Leh that will see a convoy of 43 high-performance cars from across the country traverse the iconic Srinagar–Leh corridor. The expedition was flagged off by Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon'ble Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, at his residence in New Delhi.
An amalgamation of shared passion for automotive experiences and celebration of India's growing road tourism ecosystem, the expedition will take participants through the breathtaking landscapes of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, including the world-renowned Khardung La.
The convoy features cars from across 7 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad, including 20 BMW M cars, a Lamborghini Urus, a Land Rover Defender Octa, a Mercedes-Benz G63, three Porsche 911s, Audis, a Jeep Wrangler, and a Ford Mustang, among other marquee vehicles. All participants are seasoned, disciplined drivers committed to traffic rules and safety protocols, ensuring the expedition is conducted with the highest standards of responsibility and civic sense.
The flag-off reflects the Ministry of Tourism's continued efforts to promote India's emerging road travel destinations and position the country's infrastructure alongside some of the world's finest driving routes, encouraging both domestic and international adventure tourism.
