    TVS Motor's Brand Ambassador - Mahesh Babu: xBhp News

    TVS Motor added Bollywood star Mahesh Babu as the company's brand ambassador in Hyderabad.



    He will now be endorsing the Chennai based company along with Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, cricket star Virat Kohli and bollywood starlet Anushka Sharma.

    The actor will first endorse the TVS Phoenix, a 125cc premium commuter motorcycle, after which he will be endorsing other products from the company.

    Mahesh Babu -

    "This will be an exciting experience for me. I will begin shooting for the Ad soon"

                  well known actor in the South and almost everyone like him (not me) and I think this is his first time as an ambassador to TVS or may I say to bikes (not sure cos haven't seen him any of the bike ads until now). . .

                    When will they learn the lesson!!!
                    Spending too much on brand ambassadors and nothing for the Brand itself !!!!
                    They already had two best cricketers endorsing them, and still their sales slowing down. They still arnt understanding, that without new products, even Bradley Cooper cant help them.

                      God! Is it so difficult to understand such a simple thing?
                      Just like brands like thumbs up, airtel, aircel have local brand ambassadors, Mahesh is the ambassador for Andhra Pradesh region.
                      The highly intellectual and educated people at xbhp always make rational decisions and go only for the best possible bikes, unfortunately the rest of the 99.999% of the population is not completely so rational. They tend to make decisions which are heavily influenced by the media. So, these kind of gimmicks still do work for companies.

                              He was no. 2 in Times most desirable men list for India. So, certainly there are lot of people who know about him across India. In south, he is definitely a popular star across all the 4 states.

                              But, TVS should've invested in their products rather than getting a brand ambassador. Of course, having brand ambassador improves the visibility, but it's not like TVS is totally new to our market.
