It is a modification. I am surprised how nobody could spot the Gixxer fairing.

RTR chassis is quite capable.I wish TVS brings out a new apache with similar frame/mounting points having at least approx 25bhp so that I can swap my 180cc engine with it when I thrash it..!

Yeah I found concept sketches of something like Duke, called TVS XNR 250. even the page had website design for the same concept!

I opened a news thread...but it was not published here!... don't know Y??

OK here are the concept sketches of the TVS 250

The page I've got the sketches is : Tvs Motorbike by Ajay Choudhary at Coroflot.com

Is this the upcoming 250 or just another concept for the upcoming Autoexpo???
something like front fender looks unpractical & the tail is not lookin good IMHO.

            fingers crossed

^School project!!! great school, great project(wish I had been there a student) ... the post of the sketches was dated Nov2012 in that site & I've heard some kind of 250 under development inside factory, hence I supposed this to be that :P

OK let us wait asusual for the TVS 250 and 4 them who cant wait shall modify current RTR like the Indonesians & Brazilians

                        Relax bro

Regarding a 250 from TVS, I am not sure what they have planned for auto expo but they took the pain to atleast design this website (autoexpo.tvsmotor.in) and there is an RTR visible in background, not sure if it would have any performance upgrade though.

Regarding a bike from BMW-TVS, I had a chat with one of the TVS personnel and he said that currently BMW is trying to shortlist the service centres capable of offering quality service which can meet their conditions and also the capability to make changes to the SVC as decided by BMW to maintain their standards. They have chosen around 50 SVCs out of 700 odd in India and will be further screened. So the bike from this venture is not going to be before 2015 (which they had decided earlier).

That's because when hero and Honda sell their 250 at 1.8L TVS will give me one at 1.3L

I really hope TVS' upcoming 250cc is comfortable street bike (with a seating somewhat like the Inauzma) and not another faired addition to the 250 family.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

                              Chill mate, . .

BTW am also waiting for a RTR250 , it's so exciting. . . Better handling, better performer and better braking all combined with awesome power , it'd be really great. . . But one thing we need less in them, VIB-RATI-ONS-SS-SS and the bike will be a beauty. . . Am also looking forward for a RTR220/250 in the coming Auto EXpo, saying this as to the details I had got previously that there might be a RTR220 that was back then but I now hope they come up with a 250cc and be a better track bike . . .

Comfortable :O ???, that might spoil the name RTR itself . . . I want the new one to be even more aggressive than the present one's or at least a little relaxed being still a better handler. . .

                              Cheers!!!
