well,I can see some colour and decal differences in them compared to internantionally sold ones. These colours indeed looks great. But, I expect the 250R sales to go down very fast.

Yes, with abs version priced higher than duke 390's introductory price... Cbr sales will go down.. But still it is one of the best tourers available, so people who love touring will opt for 250R

Real Big words from Mr. Guleria for something not that large, in my humble opinion.

Its just me, but I wouldn't call my customers "racing fanatics" specially when we don't even have enough racetracks to justify the ethical usage of the term "racing", leave alone justifying the use of word "fanatics".
Let's hope they handle CBR400R launch & press communication better.

"The limited Repsol edition shall bring the racing DNA of Honda Repsol team's MotoGP bike for young racing enthusiasts and we ......"
How does racing DNA come with just aesthetic changes to a tourer?
We're advertising for Repsol & HRC, that too by paying a premium. Does this make your bike a "racing" one?

I understand that Honda has to adhere to international decisions by Honda Japan Headquarters, and hence can't make changes to CBR 250R, and they don't need to, seeing that its a good tourer and all. They probably designed it with reference to the now upgraded & renamed Ninja 250R, which was quite a good thing for competition few years back.

But they can surely avoid making overrated statements. Even if CBR posts better lap times than some of its (lesser cc's) competition, it doesn't feel like a racebike.

From what I have perceived over the years, Honda' intention is to fill up segments with "timeless" bikes, so they might get a 400 and a 600 after it, but they might not actually upgrade the CBR 250R internally. Could be a good strategy I think.

I have the same Repsol graphics limited edition Unicorn sport, looks great but 1.92L for this alone is taking it way over the limit. But I hope they can get this colour for the 400

A feeble approach/step by Honda - not sure if it was to counteract the massive launch of Duke 390. If yes, then LOL

I would be so happy if Honda could just get rid of this abomination altogether and make a modern iteration of the legendary 1990s CBR250RR. The Inline-4 screaming monster with a 19000 rpm redline. It made more power, more torque, had less weight and similar (under test conditions) fuel economy.

Even though CBR250R is over priced comparing to its competitors, I strongly believe that there are still takers of Honda, there are lots out there who swear by the word honda for its butter smooth engine and various other factors. KTM is a new player and fairing is an added advantage for CBR.
Even though one can tour on CBR250R it cannot be categorized as a sports tourer, its a sports bike (by sports bike I don't mean that its a track bike).
