    Jawa Yezdi 11th International Day: xBhp News

    Event: 11th International Bangalore Jawa Yezdi Day
    Date: 14th July Sunday 2013
    Place: Hombegowda Ground, Wilson garden, Bangalore, Karnataka

    Every year, the second Sunday of July is observed as International Jawa Yezdi Day by Jawa Yezdi Club.

    Below are photographs from the recently concluded Jawa Yezdi day celebrations by Bangalore Jawa Yezdi Motorcycle Club. Members from all over Bangalore rode out to Hombegowda Ground, Wilson garden, Bangalore, where the BJYMC folks arranged for various group events. BJYMC riders and mechanics spoke to the assembled and shared stories about their machines and road trips.

    There were hunderds of Jawa's and Yezdi's. More than 20 350CC bikes and more than 150 Yezdi Roadking found on the show

    Jawa Parack, a 1949 model, 250 cc bike, which was steal the show.

    Yezdi' bikes being parked on the '11th International Jawa-Yezdi Day' organised by Bangalore Jawa Yezdi motorcycle club at Hombegowda Ground, Wilson Garden.

      it was amazing to see 100s of yezdi and jawa bikes and the crowd was better than last year

        nice to see such a wonderful collection of jawa and yezdi......

        yezdi was my favourite bike when i was in school....till RX100 took over in college days.

                Ah Yezdi twin exhausts, nothing comes close to it. Sad they are no more with us else today it could have been a different ball game.

                  Super dooper likey. And thanks for the photos guys. And boy I will never for the D 250 Classic and the Roadking, it reminds me of my dear uncle and the long trips he used me and my cousin on this two bikes. Fun days they were. So proud to see them still beautiful, well kempt and...just EXCELLENT.

                  And one small correction, it's the Jawa Perak, not Parack. Got confused.

                      WOW...waiting for this thread, since I heard about the J-day celebration. This is reallly a feast for the jawa/yezdi lovers, especially for people like me. It would be a huge feast if pics from other locations (mangalore, chennai.....) where these J-day are cleberated.

                      Whenever I see any of these bike in old movies, songs I always jump of my seat and used to say to my friends/parents whoever nearby "hey see see...this is bike I would own one day for sure". Still i can recollect my childhood days with Doordarshan (Racing scene from old MGR movie "Needhikku Thalai Vanangu" , lot of Rajini movies like "Puthu Kavithai""Kalugu", stunts and chasing scenes from 70' - 80's movies, its always a bliss.

                      If I had been in Bangalore I would have literally fainted (super excited!!) I don't know, how I had fallen in love with this beauty. Still I'm cherishing the moments the day I rode a jawa and finally owned one. I have no words to express my love, which had further inclined me more towards the vintage stuffs. I'm not a hardcore enthusiasts to own and restore more of these vintage beauties in reality, but owning a jawa had given me an utmost pleasure and experience.

                      MOREOEVER RESPECT TO THE BIKES AND THE BIKERS
