Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has started production of the Activa at the second production line in its new plant in Narsapura, Karnataka.
Last month, HMSI had started production at this plant by rolling out the Dream Yuga. This is the third plant of the company in India. Honda has started the second assembly line in the third plant with the Activa. Waiting period for the popular scooter is expected to go down drastically, with this increase in production.
Initially, the plant will produce, 12 lakh units which will be further increased to 18 lakh units by the end of this fiscal.
