    A Ducati Dealer in Portland, took a track spec Panigale and converted it into an offroader!

    Track Bikes are not meant to be ridden on trails or are they? Arun Sharma, General Manager of MotoCorsa, decided to take a Ducati Panigale 1199 and make it off-road worthy.

                      Since the Panigale has Ducati Traction Control and the owners are relatively safer, this manager just narrowly escaped a fine lecture from me.

                      These off roader tyres will never be able to provide slick road tyres like grip. No matter how soft they are, these tyres are basically working at 20-40% lesser surface area when going on plain road. I'm not sure, but in this form the owner may not be able to utilise its full acceleration. TC will kick in a lot, atleast during spirited riding on the roads.


                      A good thing is that (according to the article) there is easy convertability to stock form and back... That is important & that will actually add value. Otherwise, of course there's no dearth of off roaders.
