as of now,the only "all-new" is that abs red-blue livery honda cbr250 which cost nearly same about duke 390(if not more in some cities) but still sells by the dozen..unless people stop doing that honda will laugh counting profit and will not budge...

            ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

going by the premium Honda charges for its products cbr300r may instead have ninja 300 instead of duke 390 for competition...the ridiculous pricing of 390 duke(it costs same than ABS cred-blue cbr250 in my state) have disturbed the Honda maths.unless of course if they discard the 250 altogether and replace it with 300 like ninja did..even then things tip in dukes' favors as far numbers go..even pulsar 375c is poised to give it a challenge performance figure-wise(the only thing we have as of now) add to that the fact it will cost in range between cbr150 and cbr250 in all probablity..sigh!what a soup has bajaj brewed..it has cornered Honda,Yamaha and Kawasaki(the japs i see, reminds me of their ad) in the segment very tightly,,even the most desi-bike hating will have to agree this..of course, with the help of an orange clad hooligan mercenary called ktm.

CTX 1300 looks 100% inspired by frieza (dragonball z, for those unaware)

They could have showcased the products in diffrent colour schems while unveiling. The same HRC all over gives a feeling of all the produts are derivatives of one line... Just scroll thru the pictures above and you will get that feeling.

VFR getting stylish touches is a welcome move. Another being the 250R/300R/400R getting the proper Ceeber origin in appearance.

                  firstly
wow if that CBR 300R is coming here,
                  Kawasaki and KTM have competition

The CBR650F looks rather stunning i must say...

And i'm not sure i understand the styling with the CTX 1300 but i'm not finding it appealing.

                  Anyhow,
                  new bikes yippe !
let's see which one's make it here

The strategy by KTM was to put all R&D costs into one platform and then improvise. The D125, 200, 390 were all created at the same time and therefore it drastically reduced the R&D costs for 3 bikes which in a way benefits the customer since the company can price it lower to recover their investments easily. When a manufacturer creates a standalone product, they have to price it higher to make sure they recover their input costs. Honda has done the same thing with the 400/500 trio. KTM did it with the Dukes. Platform sharing will soon be common to all manufacturers.

                    Btw listen to the engine!

Bloody, none of the new offerings have any spice to add other than then CTX 1300. Don't they all look the same from year to year, why they even take the trouble of giving them new release I don't understand.

CBR650 F is an amazing motorcycle.
Bringing it CKD will not be in Honda's plans.
It would have been cool if HMSI had any interest to cater to this segment, instead of becoming the largest moped seller!
