Suzuki recently revealed the Recursion Turbocharged concept motorcycle at the Tokyo Motor show. This motorcycle from Suzuki is a Turbocharged middleweight concept.
At the Tokyo Motor Show, another Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki, showacased a supercharged engine, but gave no details on the same.
Suzuki on the other hand has been teasing bikers with this turbo charged 588cc twin cylinder. With more information being dissipated every now and then! The bike features an intercooled turbocharger. The bike is said to produce 100hp at 8000 rpm and around 100Nm at 4500 rpm. The bike weighs in at 175 kg dry.
This would make the Suzuki Recursion a very lightweight and powerful motorcycle in the middleweight sector. Thus giving this Japanese manufacturer a head start in the novelty and innovative motorcycle market.
When will this motorcycle actually make it to the production stage, if at all, remains anybody's guess. Would you like to ride a turbocharged Suzuki?
