Hesketh 24 is 1950cc v-twin, cradled in a steel frame. The massive engine produces 120 bhp and will sport a 2 into 1 into 3 exhaust. The bike also has Beringer Brakes, Ohlins Front and Rear suspension and BST Carbon Fibre Wheels. The 24 sports a 22.7 litre fuel tank, which is housed below the engine!

Hesketh Motorcycles was started in the 80's and was kept in memory of the public by James Hunt. The bike is thus based on the James Hunt's GP Winning Car, which he raced for Hesketh in 1973. The number '24' also comes from Hunt's winning number. They will be only 24 units produced of this motorcycle initially and will be available in February 2014. Two seat version will available shortly thereafter.

The bike looks different. But what the company plans to achieve by selling just 24 bikes after so many years. I do not know much about the company, but is making bikes their side business.

If the fuel tank is placed below the engine, I wonder whats in the "dummy" tank above.

Good for movies and exhibitions on automotive technology. I guess 24 because they got some funding which will cover only so much.

A thing of Beauty! But is it meant for driving on roads, especially Indian Roads? My 7 yr old P200's undercarriage gets hit almost every time I encounter a pothole or speed breaker, wonder how the fuel tank would hold up? Nevertheless, do we have the fuel in India for such bike, if one dared to buy?

From the history, it appears that these bikes are more of a collectible /memorabilia or a niche limited edition rather than a mass bike. I fear the asking price for such a tropy must be humongous!
