Great news. Thunder bird is the only real cruiser in Indian market now. Avenger, though good looking, doesn't do justice with the re-tuned pulsar engine plonked onto it.
It will be exciting if Bajaj's new cruiser has an all new engine rather than that of the Pulsar200NS or the Duke390.
One more point Bajaj should consider with great care is the exhaust note. After all, cruisers are meant to have a thump unlike our modern day 4S machines.

We had met few engineers from R&D, Bajaj (Chakan-Pune) in Ladakh this year. They told us that research was going on a cruiser bike. According to them, this new cruiser bike will be far better than Avenger 220, more powerful, more beautiful and more comfortable.
