My opinion personally - Munjals have had a history of spending money on all the wrong things like Golf etc. At least they are now sponsoring racing, but I did still like them to spend more in R&D than spend on racing teams which dont even use Hero Bikes. First I want to see the technology trickle down from Erick Buell to Hero in India.Comment

This move is just to follow what Mahindra has done . I dont think either of the two has capability or know how to bring race tech to road bikes, at least not anytime soon.
More of a marketing mojo!
Unless someone served them a fully built race bike on a plate to sell in india through their dealership, its highly unlikely that they can conceive a race bike of their own.
