Re: New Naked Honda 300/250
I don't think will launch 300cc engine in India any time soon. Honda took almost 1 year to launch new colors in India after their International launch. So just imagine how much time honda will take upgrade engine.....??? More than 1 year or may be around 2 years. That is why I am expecting a 250cc naked and new 250cc cbr for India.Originally posted by Ivin View Postsigpic

Re: New Naked Honda 300/250
Yes, Honda India is nearly an year late compared to the rest of the world(In the case of CBR 250R). But, thinking positively, the 9 months delay in the new 300cc can make Honda India level with rest of the world, but only if Honda India step up.Originally posted by Naveen1985 View PostI don't think will launch 300cc engine in India any time soon. Re: New Naked Honda 300/250
According documents leaked from the California Air Resources Board, the Honda CB300F is all-set to enter the US market by end of 2014

After patent images of the upcoming naked version of the Honda CBR 300R were leaked on internet news has come in that the Honda CB300F is all set for production. According to leaked certification documents from the California Air Resources Board, the monikers CB300F, the CBR300R and CBR300RA (the ABS-equipped version) are mentioned in them. This implies that the above mentioned motorcycles have been approved by the controlling authority for emission regulations in the US market.
Talking about the Honda CB300F, the design of the new bike has been influenced from the CB500F street-fighter, especially the headlights and the tank extensions. Part sharing with the CBR300R is visible on the mudguards, seats, exhaust and tail section. The handlebar seems to be raised and with the rear-set footpegs it should provide a subtly sporty yet comfortable riding position, which is essential for a streetbike.

Powering the new CB300F will be the 286cc, single-cylinder mill producing 30.8PS @ 8,500rpm and a torque rating of 27Nm @ 7,250rpm. The powerplant is a bored out version of the 249cc engine as found on the 250R with the same basic engine construction and PGM-FI takes care of fuelling the bike. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a six-speed transmission. It is expected that Honda will fiddle with the motor, to adapt to the streetbike characteristics of the CB300F. Braking duties are take care of by disc brakes at front and rear, while ABS doesn’t seem to be even an optional fitment.
On the Indian context, the CBR 300R is expected to be launched in our two-wheeler market by end of 2014 as a replacement to the Honda CBR 250R. So it is safe to say that the Honda CB300F will also eventually make its way to our shores by 2015. The Honda CB300F will be pitched against the Suzuki Inazuma and the upcoming Kawasaki Z250 but unlike its Japanese counterparts it will be powered by a single-cyclinder powerplant and should be cheaper than them.

Re: New Naked Honda 300/250
Why increase 50 by 50.. just bring the cb 400 with 4 pots.. that will bring better value . No point in tryin to capture market with new designs when honda already has established models and they can just do some tweaks and bring it down here and rip down others in the market.. I dont see the point in this bike now.
2006 > 2014 >PUBLIC TRANSPORT - Singapore(DUH!)
2005 > disco 125(for dad)
2003 > Zma
2003 > ambition (sold)
1999 > Cd100ss(sold
1997 > Dad's cd 100 (1990)(sold)

the CB400 would be a great bike for india.Originally posted by noah2125 View Postust bring the cb 400 with 4 pots.. that will bring better value . No point in tryin to capture market with new designs when honda already has established models. I dont see the point in this bike now.
but everyone will want a 400cc inline four to be priced "sub two lakh" because that's what they think it's worth.

Re: New Naked Honda 300/250
Maybe if you looked out of the box, you would see the bigger picture? The CB400F/CB500F/CB650F and the upcoming CB800F all carry the same design forward in their CB lineup just like the CBR lineups.Originally posted by 111diablo111 View Postlooking like a bigger twister..isn't it??

Re: New Naked Honda 300/250
The headlight seems disproportionately small. This design looks outdated and boring. Somehow, the Ninja 250 Mono looks more interestingOriginally posted by Nithesh View PostMaybe if you looked out of the box, you would see the bigger picture?
