Today, on 23 July, 2014, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) launched a new 125cc CB Shine. Two new color options are available for this bike:
1. pearl amazing white,

2. dual tone red and Black.

said Mr. Y.S. Guleria, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, HMSI.
The new CB Shine is available in 3 variants -- Kick Drum Spoke, Self-Drum Alloy and Self Disc Alloy. The base variant Kick Drum Spoke has been priced at ex-showroom New Delhi price of Rs. 47,341. The middle variant Self-Drum Alloy has been priced at Rs. 51,015 while the top variant Self-Disc Alloy with all the goodies has been priced at Rs. 54,051.
Xbhp notices that since its launch in 2006, this bike has become synonymous with commuting, specially for Honda fans. Its going strong with more than 30 lacs customers.
Back in the days, when Honda did not have any 110cc bike, it was Shine that carried the brand forward, as far as motorcycle commuting was concerned. And it eventually became the donor bike, for the popular Honda Stunner 125.
Shine was noted for being commuter friendly with close-ratio gears and good mileage, although its undergeared nature resulted in some vibrations just upwards of the average commuting speeds.
The new looks should help it gain lost ground, in terms of color schemes and attractiveness.
As of now, its a cosmetic change only. But probably, no bike deserved it better than the ageing CB Shine.
