they are not talking about removing the toll booths.. so the toll booths will exist , the private vehicles will just need to pass by without paying the toll (some of them are in fact already toll free for two wheelers)since it would have been prepaid if they go ahead with this proposal.Originally posted by Cleaner View PostComment

Its a good news for me at least because I do go on highway a lot, even if someone never go to highway he will get the benefits because toll roads create huge kms long traffic jam in cities like here in Delhi we use to suffer from traffic of toll kms away even if we are roaring in city only we have many tolls in every corner of Delhi, so passively it will bee beneficial for all at least in cities....

Hope they increased the toll rates for private vehicles and provide improved public transportation instead .
Instead of taking long term useful plans we are opting for short term plans .
If the lane discipline is followed in the TOLL BOOTH half of the problem gets solved .(Each vehicle class gets separate lane and that's followed correctly)Comment

There isn't a toll booth to Mysore if you take the road provided by the govt. But if you are taking NICE, there is toll.( I dont think the NICE has laid down the expressway all the way to Mysore as of now ). Correct me if I'm wrong on this.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View Post

When I go from hyderabad to bangalore, I pay 600 rs one way. I have roughly spent 8000 rs or more just on tolls in the last 4 years. I dont mind this 1000 rs extra tax for a lifetime of the vehicle. Would save these thousand by just avoiding the toll queue in the lifetime of the vehicle.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View Post
