The render closely matches the bike spied testing in Germany last week, spotted with revised fairings amongst other new features.
The 2015 model can be seen with a new tail section and changes to the front and side fairings. It also uses a new muffler with two exhaust ports.
With no new emissions paperwork submitted it’s likely that the new bike is simply a facelift update and will use the same 193hp 999cc inline four engine as the previous model.
However, spotted testing with electrical connectors to the front forks, the flagship superbike is likely to be fitted with BMW semi-active suspension.
We can expect to see the bike in early October at the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany, or in early November at the EICMA show in Milan.
