Engineer Olivier Midy- the brainchild behind the Type1 project states that the development of the motorcycle took over two decades. Set to go into production in 2016, the Midual Type1 would see a limited production run of 35 units rolling out of its Angers factory. Midual is offering a four year warranty and maintenance plan to the customers for the Type1.
Talking of the spec chart of the Midual Type1, propelling duties is done by longitudinally mounted 1036cc boxer engine cranking out a healthy 100 bhp @ 8000 rpm with max torque figures of 100 nm @ 5300 rpm. The monocoque aluminum frame that holds up the engine and the suspension, also accommodates fuel. Rest of the details at the end of the post.
