Hard hitting bike video launched
This happened in the area I grew up in, rather sad outcome. The rider was well in excess of the speed limit, I think is 70 Mph on that particular road, he was doing 97 Mph at that time (around 170 kmph), the car driver didn't see him, according to me both were at fault, the driver for not looking properly and the rider for going well in excess of the speed limit. Personally I always slow down a bit whether on the bike or in the car at junctions and turns as you cannot predict what another person will do. Now here in India, especially in Goa, people are obsessed with driving and riding whilst talking, texting etc. on their mobile phones, one has to be even more vigilant, the only blessing here is the fact that we move around at more pedestrian speeds, with faster and more powerful bikes and cars being launched regularly, the roads will witness more deaths and horrific injuries.
Suffolk Constabulary: Hard hitting bike video launchedBeware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !Tags: None

Re: Hard hitting bike video launched
This clip made me very sad. Like stefanm rightly stated we have faster bikes on the road in today's day and what adds insult to injury is the inefficiency with which our RTOs conduct 2 wheeler tests. Just because one knows how to ride a motorcycle doesn't mean he/she knows how to ride it on public road.
I really hope this video serves as an eye opener. My early morning commute will be definitely be a few knots slower.

I have to commute to the office early in the morning. That is the most dangerous time for a biker per me. All the heavy vehicles drivers are drowsy and all the small vehicles drivers are either too busy or reckless. I don't go above 50kmph. It takes 4-5 minutes extra to reach the office. I'm ok with that. And not only the motorists, the bikers are at fault most of the time for over speeding.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

you are right..we need to ride slowly due to increasing number of vehicles on the roadOriginally posted by krishna77 View PostI have to commute to the office early in the morning. Re: Hard hitting bike video launched
God! Thats terrible!! Poor chap paid the price for Car driver's mistake. Agreed he was overspeeding near junction but still was the car driver blind? Its an eye-opener for sure that life can end in a second on bike if you are not careful.
I've been rear ended by a bus last year when the signal was red and i was waiting at the line. The moron bus driver thought he will jump the signal but he saw a car nearby and swerved and hit me at aprox 30kmph. Although the speed of bus was only 30 the impact to two wheeler was huge, these busses are monsters, the rear wheel of my bike was crushed & believe me guys you have no idea how dangerous these big vehicles are. I was thrown close to 8 ft in air and landed almost 15ft away from my bike. When i got into my senses and realised what was happening, the bus had stopped on my bike's rear wheel and public were thrashing the driver. Good that he got what he deserved. I'm still fighting case in court and our laws are really funny. He was let go after 500rs fine, heard from police that even if its death case the fines are ridiculously low. So not sure if now that driver drives carefully or he thinks even if i hit someone only 500rs fine so lets continue roadracing.

He would probably be thinking about the second caseOriginally posted by road_ripper View PostSo not sure if now that driver drives carefully or he thinks even if i hit someone only 500rs fine so lets continue roadracing.
. I came from a long trip yester night only. Believe me the bus which i traveled was in hit or miss situations with atleast or more than 50 vehicles inside 5 hrs of its running time. That makes want to not buy any vehicle
(i currently don't own one and am planning to buy soon) . Even if we follow the damn rules the other driver/rider would most probably be rash driving, there is no guarantee of us returning to our place in good condition. The newer technologies are actually paving ways to increase casualties(talking about the performance upgrades and jugaad DIY's). And on top of that the traffic law system is damn foolish. The RTO only cares about their revenue and not implementing awareness among drivers. All they ask is fine for any accident no awareness, no license ceases no nothing. To sum it all up the number of vehicles onroad is also increasing rapidly with all those no down-payment vehicle loans. All we can do is be restricted to the conditions and concentrate more on being in safe side somehow, rest is all our fate. So please ride extremely cautious dear bros and sis

Re: Hard hitting bike video launched
Poor guy, But the mistake was from both the side, I think rider was on excessive speed on that little road and car driver was not able to see rider because of the speed and biker paid his life...
I slow down 0-20 kmph while on junctions & intersection, people ride/drive horribly, even on red lights I avoid standing in front of crowd as people start honking before 5 sec of green light and some moron try to cross the red light in last 1-2 seconds and who ever is coming first from green light could become victim of accident...

Re: Hard hitting bike video launched
Its horrific situation out there.
I don't get why people start honking within last 5-10 seconds.
Well ,they have been waiting for past 85 seconds, can't they wait for next 5 seconds?
And the funniest part it,after breaking a red light by mere 5 seconds they continue to drive at 30kmph on a free open road.
Ridiculous mind setup.
Above all you cannot impart knowledge in them ,ultimately they start questioning your authenticity and might even offend with swearing."As I lay rubber
down the street
I pray for traction
I can keep,but
if I spin and begin
to slide , please
dear god, protect
my sweet ride"- Amen
