Hero MotorCorp and Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India have individually increased prices of their two wheelers ahead of the festive season.
HMC have increased the prices of the products between Rs 250-550. The price hike has been increased with effect from September 22 on all its products except the Hero Maestro. HMC said that the price hike has been done due to the increase in transportation costs.

HMSI also announced a price hike, with prices being increased up to Rs 450. The volumes driven scooter range though will have a price increase of Rs 100-200.
Other players in the Indian market have not announced a price hike as yet, with Bajaj Auto saying that they have no intention of increasing prices till Dussherra.
