ofcourse price would go upOriginally posted by Balgi View PostAnd the price would have shot up to 80k directly. Come on bro .............. I mean the price IS all it has going for it anyway. LOL
... i think 80k is good for 150cc bikes.

See Brother, if I want to commute daily from home to office, then 100cc is fine, and it has to be normal bike, if I am bike enthusiastic, then depending on my particular nature in mind, I shall have to go for a proper sports bike, cruiser, cafe racer etc. There is no reason to get something which is not upto the mark and only for showoff.Originally posted by shubhakv View Postofcourse price would go up

You can get a Chinese IPhone look like, but that wont serve the purpose, more over, if you try to flaunt it, on a closer inspection, people shall come to know about it and that will even break the mood. Better to get a bare basic Samsung / Nokia instead of a Chinese IPhone look like.
Like wise, if you want to go for a Cafe Racer, go for Continental GT, Splendor, splendor+, Passion, Passion Pro etc are too good in 100cc commuter segment, but doing a look alike and release it under a new model name, is like humiliating the existing owner.

What with those fugly looks? did you see the rear cowl.? any bigger and it would be a sofa's back rest. LOLOriginally posted by shubhakv View Postofcourse price would go up

for non premium prices the company can only do so much. and frankly what they did to good daily commute bikes like splendor and passion is insulting to anyone who has owned them. for 80k maybe fit and finish would be better and power would be increased, but looks would remain the same.
And what is with the front mudguard on the passion? Like I said in my earlier post, these bikes look like local cheaply modded bikes. like the ones I and my friends used to laugh at when we were in college. the good looks of the bikes have been ruined.

Re: Hero Launches Splendor Pro Classic and Passion Pro TR: xBhp News
On the classic, which is targetted to look like a cafe racer, the foot peg position hasn't been changed, it's the same as a regular splendor. Ride is bound to be uncomfortable.

At least a 150cc mill would have been appreciated.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Hero needs to bring out the liquid cooled 250cc bike ASAP.
Let me clarify. These are an insult to facelifts. The r&d money in my opinion would be better spent on newer more all round performance oriented mods to these violated classics.

What R&D money? They just sent new CAD drawings to some Chinese or Korean company and asked them to provide parts. You won't even get dinner for two at a fancy restaurant with that much of money. At max, you would get a couple of Vada PaosOriginally posted by Balgi View PostLet me clarify. These are an insult to facelifts. See bro, I suspect hero doesn't expect the bikes to sell much. Its just a gimmick to attract customers who'll look at the bike and be impressed and then buy the more successful and frankly practical bikes in the hero stable. Its the same thing that happned with impulse. It came and went without anyone knowing but people were impressed by its off road looks. Now the 250cc hero hx, That is the real deal.
