I would say nice pricing, even if we just simply multiply it with current currency conversion set its somewhere around 11-12L in Indian rupee, but that 100% duty is what killing these sexy machines for India.
I feel that it will surely going to come in India in 2015

R1 and R1M are now available in India as per Yamaha website. So surprised to know that was no official launch event by the company.

Yamaha has launched the 2015 versions of the R1 and R1M in India priced at Rs. 22,34,300/- and Rs. 29,43,100/- (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

Last month Yamaha technicians were sent on training for few days in Noida area, I guess. Its somewhere near Delhi/NCR.
