Yamaha is recalling YZF-R6 motorcycles manufactured from August 1, 2014 to September 1, 2014.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a recall notice regarding 2014 Yamaha YZF-R6.
The notice states that -
There are only 28 units involved in the recall, but 100 % of the motorcycles within the parameters of the notice are estimated to have the defect.
Yamaha, USA was made aware of the issue by Yamaha Motor Company, Ltd. on October 6, 2014. The program to remedy the issue includes replacing the front and rear wheel assemblies, free of charge.
