2017 would be too late, make it 2016. The industry can't regulate itself, somebody needs to push them hard.

      +1 for that.
I have seen people riding with both the RVMs not being there. And suddenly them taking a turn.
Also, some kind of sensors need t \o be installed within the headlight assembly so that the moment dusk arrives, no one can ride without having the headlight turned on. People riding without the headlights turned specially during night on are the biggest concerns for me at least.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

I hate the left side RVMs on cars, I often get hit on the shoulder when those SUV overtake me on NH37.

My commute starts from Sivsagar bypass (Near that park) to Jorhat town, I think I have at least 3 near accident every time I go out. Did I mention trucks and buses forcing bicyclists and bikers off the roads?

                BTW do you ride a GT250R or a CBR250R?

I ride a 2011 Hero Honda Karizma ZMR. Yes trucks and buses dont care about the people on bikes. What's worse is that when the sun goes down their headlight goes high beam and doesn't come down until sun is up again. Even if you continously signal them to lower their beam some of them just don't care. I almost hit some pedestrians and cyclists due to the poor visibility. As my bike's headlight is no match for the buses trucks and new gen suvs

2017 , why not mid of 2015, how long does it take for manufacturers to put on ABS units, most of these units will be sourced from third party vendors. 2017 is too far away, some of these decisions baffle me . Why do these people even want to announce something that is coming in 2017

Why can't companies provide as optional.......for all bikes..?

Yes.I completely agree with the idea of having an optional ABS with every bike having 125cc and more displacement capacity. This is a feature that is very much needed and desired on Indian roads.
                          Safety first , cost second.

There should be fined imposed on all drivers riders running their vehicle with High Beam and strict actions if repeated.
Additionally, any vehicle found entering the lane from from any cut etc then fine as well.

ABS should be made mandatory on any motorised vehicle irrespective of what CC it is, why this discrimination?
But, this is not going to reduce the idiocy of two wheeler riders whose brain is as big as their balls causing accidents.
