Terra Motors to Launch Electric Three Wheeler in 2015
So we here at xBhp bring a lot of stuff when it comes to two wheels, and especially the "Electric" market heating up for good, it's great to see quality stuffs enter India for good. This time, it's 3 wheeled and here's why.
Terra Motors, a manufacturer of electric two and three wheelers in Japan, has unveiled the ‘R6’ Japanese electric three wheeler. The company will start to sell R6 early next year. With full charge, R6 can go as far as 100 km.

Talking about its strong commitment towards Asia, Toru Tokushige, CEO & Founder, Terra Motors said,
Terra Motors aims for 10,000 units of sales for electric three wheelers within 2015 in India. They are now developing 2~3 types of electric three wheelers including an e-rickshaw segment.

“There is huge three wheeler market in Asia, for example in India. Currently, there are so many e-rickshaw from China without the government approval in those countries. So we’ll release 'R6' with a strong durability and safety.“
