This magnificent motorcycle was on display at Cars and Coffee in Alpharetta, Georgia two weeks back. It drew quite a lot of attention over there even the owner took a moment to start it up so that crowd could hear the loud roar of this beast.

The Bike is equipped with the same having 60-degree quad-cam V12, which went from 3.5 to 4.0, 6.2 and 6.5 litres, with a significant change in power from 274 to 670 hp.

The six carburetors and the throttle bodies look absolutely impressive with those handle bar in the middle of the bike.

This is just so impractical, its a naked engine and just a engine between the two wheels somehow, but the person who has done it is nuts...

Its just a bad modification job. Y2k which has a rolls Royce Allison helicopter engine looks far better than this piece of s**t. At least y2k looks like a bike and not a cheap mod job. This looks practically impossible for the rider to ride as every time he uses the front brakes the rear is gonna pop up, even at low speeds. Our desi maruti 800 engine bike looks better than this.

Just because it has a lambo engine doesnt make it a bike.If u think u can handle it in corners at speeds over 70k then u must try moto gp. A bike consists of speed torque handling &braking . this definitely sucks in handling.

This on the other hand is Y2k. A bike that makes Hayabusa look like a splendor .

Re: Lamborghini V12 engine in a Motorcycle: xBhp News

If a normal bike builder wanted to create
a fast bike he would mostly go in for a
twin-cylinder or an in-line four engine
and tune its nuts out to extract as much
power from the mill as he can. But Ted
                      McIntyre of Marine Turbine Technologies
                      thinks slightly differently. Instead of
                      plonking a normal internal combustion
                      engine, he installed a Rolls-Royce-
                      Allison Model 250 turboshaft engine
from a helicopter to power his
behemoth! The stock engine pumps out
an astounding 324PS of power but if
you want to go full bonkers, there is the
                      Streetfighter variant with an insane
power output of 426PS and a torque
rating of 678Nm! All these numbers
mean the Y2K boasts a top whack of
365km/h which can put many hypercars
to shame. To translate all that power on
the road the bike uses a 240mm Pirelli
Diablo rear tyre and instead of a
standard review mirror as found on all
motorcycles, the Y2K employs a rear-
mounted camera with LCD color display
on the instrument cluster. Speed and the
                      worlds most powerful production bike
comes at a price and the Y2K
                      commands a cool $ 1,75,000 which
                      equates to Rs 96 lakh.

I have not seen y2k set a track ablaze aswell! Its just fast in straight line.
It to does not handle well too , if Y2k makes hayabusa look like splendor , this giant pretty much makes y2k look like a luna.
I am quite sure it does not handle as well as you would want it to , but dont worry you ain't getting a test ride anyway.
And it doesn't have to look cool or practical or whatever to you , i am quite sure the builder loves it and that's what matters to him.
Y2k has to look cool as it is made to be sold , this baby is oneoff and might not get passed onto anyone else .
You cant say it bad until you build something bad enough to qualify , or someone actually invites you to be the jury.
Yes you can put forward your opinion , but it wouldn't matter.
I am sure people could appreciate the hard work and engineering gone into it. You would not send v12 lambo horses to rear wheel without a bit if ingenuity and imagination.
But You wouldn't know about the efforts now would you?

A thing of beauty is a joy forever.

Whatever efforts u invest in a bike build, its useless unless it has appeal. This lambo hybrid just doest have that appeal in my POV. So if this makes y2k a Luna then Dodge tomahawk makes this a cycle.

And yeah not much imagination invested in this lambo bike cause a guy from Delhi/Mumbai I think has built a maruti 800 engine bike, that looks far better than this crippled lambobike.

Also putting a helicopter engine in a bike uses more imagination than a v12 lambo horse bike.

Its like comparing a computer(y2k) with a calculator.

                            You think someone made 800cc??
I did it when i was a school kid , that too with esteem 1300cc. Nearly 10 years ago , then built another one , 1300cc with India's first shaft driven motorcycle . then built another one - it is India's only CRDi motorcycle and probably world's most powerful aswell.
I can connect why that guy invested in building lambo bike - because he can and 99.99% of engineers can't ( at least not alone). Forget about 99.99 non- engineers junta.

People do this stuff because they love making things , and love it even more when it works.

Y2k is built and designed by MTT , quite obviously it has a team of engineers behind it. MTT has multi million dollar budget as they were trying to make a saleable product and get some profit made.

Being a calculator at a one man show is still awesome!!

Just look at ur PIC and of that lambo. Which one looks better to you?

Lambo doesn't look like a bike. Ur PIC does. I said na its all about appeal. Ur one is also one of a kind but looks good not like some desi mod job.

Hell even people criticised the looks of R15v2 rear as a cheap garage mod job. It was built by many engineers but looked pathetic. Whatever u make it has to be beautiful otherwise it would just be a visual betrayal to ones eyes.
