Yamaha Motors Co announced the appointment of Mr. Hiroaki Fujita as their new Chairman for Yamaha Motor Group companies in India.
Fujita will takes over the position from the current Chairman Hiroyuki Suzuki from January 1, 2015 and head Companies including India Yamaha Motors (IYM), Yamaha Motor India Sales (YMIS) and Yamaha Motor Research & Development India. He will also be the President and CEO of Yamaha Motors India.
Hiroaki Fujita Said:
Hiroaki Fujita has been executive officer of Yamaha Motor Co since 2011 and also the executive general manager for intelligent machinery operations.
Recently YMC has created Yamaha Motor India as the regional headquarters and corporate control body of India business operations. The Company will responsible for various things including corporate strategy, business planning and quality control.
