Good news for those who are bound to scooters. I would love to have a 200-300cc scooter, which is a dream in India may be it will take another 50 years to bring that concept in India

Hope Yamaha launches the Delight scooter here. Looks really good, and will be a budget competition to Vespa.

I am sure yamaha is concentrating on Some punny 75 / 100 / 125 CC fuel efficient scooters . How i wish they launch majesty here . 100 - 125 Cc scooter is fully crowded in my opinion and it do make bussiness sense to bring in 150 / 250CC scooters here as there is a demand for higher CC scooters . Already they has lost the edge on 250 CC bikes with nothing to show in more than 150CC category .

IMO Game has moved out of Yamaha's Hand but it seems Yamaha is making neat profit on existing range, Else they would have shown urgency in launching new products. They should atleast look at kind of market honda has in india despite being a late entrant to market .

Delight would really be a delight to have if launched in India.

Re: Yamaha to Focus on Scooters: xBhp News

Have been repeatedly putting off my purchase of a 250-300 CC upgrade because of the so called rumoured launch of YZF-R25/R3 in India. But i guess everything has a limit. If by this April 2015, Yamaha still feels comfortabe sticking with launching 100 - 150CCs i guess regrettably, they will lose one more loyal customer to another brand... Have been stuck with Yamaha brand since 2 stroke days of RX's and RDs.

              Cheers,
