It *IS*a CKD. Thats why it is 8 Lakhs.Originally posted by Sachinnair View PostAs a CBU Shiver 750 cannot be imported in India since it is below 800 cc and I don't think CKD is an option for Aprilia as they do not have plant set up in India. So this cannot be launched in India unless I am missing something
They sell it as CKD in Malaysia, which is a much smaller market than outs.
Aprilia’s official distributor in Malaysia, Naza Premira, will start assembling the Shiver 750 motorcycle, early next year. While the Shiver 750 has been on sale in Malaysia for a while now, the locally assembled CKD model will retail at MYR 44,000 (Rs 7.93 lakh) as opposed to the completely built unit’s price of MYR 56,000 (Rs 10.09 lakh).Last edited by HyperRetard; 02-27-2015, 07:40 PM.

Why on earth would they showcase it in the IBW then?
Also that article was just for the CKD thingy.

Maybe you should've read the opening post instead of being so dismissive and brash and arrogant(as deciphered from the smiley used)Last edited by HyperRetard; 02-27-2015, 08:33 PM.

Yeah. Thats what I will do.Originally posted by giridhar View PostTake a chill pill and read your own signature bro!
What annoys me the most is that people do not have time to read the opening post, yet have the time to reply, and then behave as if they are the only smart people on the planet, and exhibit such an attitude, as if others are either incompetent fools who cant read or write or for that matter or incapable of deciphering simple english text.
These over-smart people annoy me to the core.
Anyways, nothing against you.
Peace.

In a bad mood mate? The other guy raised a valid doubt, they don't have a plant. Do Piaggio have some plans for facilities (they are the owners, if I am not mistaken)?Originally posted by HyperRetard View PostYeah. Thats what I will do.

I think you over reacted way too much, don't take it personally, these companies are always late with the launches. Even with their own manufacturing, see the HX250 R is already late, no?
Frankly I am surprised you took enough personal offence to resort to name calling.. Easy dude, we are all same kind of people here...There is no happiness for him who does not travel!
