    Re: Pulsar 150ns specs leaked..!!!

    Hmm.. P150 NS is coming..

each and every bike is unique,,.. So P150 NS will be unique...

As per my view its not at all a competitor for R15 or CBR 150R or even to Apache 180 or P180.

How it is not a competitor to A180 and P180,..??? A serious buyer who want to stick to 150cc will never look beyond that..

Those who feel that max power is delivered at high rpm with low torque and consider its a waste bike... Yes its a waste for them.

For those who feel that P200NS is very cool and cant afford it becoz of some reason and want it in a smaller capacity with good mileage(i think it will deliver) and good power it will be a great bike for them...!!!!

Anyways its not at all a competitor with premium class bikes with around 1.1+ lacs tag...

Ex: FZ, Fazer, FZ2.0, Gixxer are not at all competitors for P150, Unicorn, xtreme, GS150R and others. Each and every bike has a character and are targeted for a group..

17ps power at 9000 Rpm .. at lower rpms low power will be delivered using lower quantities of fuel which will be an advanatage to city riders for getting optimum mileage. Maybe they cant use full power band inside city but they can use it at some point of time.

Guys.. Just think.. A person who wants good looks, features, optimum power to zoom along with good FE may be this will be a better choice for him.

so guys chill... My personal thoughts. Not to offend anyone.

    Cheers,
    Srinivas

I don't see what's wrong with introducing a 17bhp pulsar 150. This is all part of product evolution! The P150 has always been the most powerful 150's below the 1L rs mark. As you mentioned, India loves the pulsar. India loves it because it's always been periodically updated with cosmetic and mechanical updates. The original pulsar had about 12 bhp. The current one(ug4) has 15bhp. The new p150 carries this mantle foward. And with regard to your observation that consumers will be confused between the 150 and 180, I think your observation is unfounded. Wouldn't they have gotten confused when the p150 used to make 15bhp and the p180 used to make 17bhp? I'm also pretty sure that this pulsar will still be pretty fuel efficient. My 47,000 kms old p150 still gives me mileage of 49-50kmpl.

You have a valid point bro!
What I said was purely based on imagining myself a prospective customer P-180. My viewpoint may differ with you. Peace.
