  • Bajaj launches, errr..., relaunches CT

A very very silent and muted (re)launch of CT 100 by Bajaj.

2015 Bajaj CT 100 launch price starts from Rs 35,801

So, IIRC, here is there entry-level bikes launched in the past decade and half: 4S Champion, Boxer (AT, CT, AR), Aspire, Caliber (with Boxer engine), Byk (the legendary name), CT 100, Platina, XCD 125, Discover 100, 100T, 100M, 100 (4G), Boxer BM150, Platina (last month), and now, born again, err, relaunched again CT.

    News Approved.

I humbly believe that Bajaj need to stick to a product for the customer's confidence, if not anything else.
A customer's confidence is greatly increased if the company maintains the product for years together, because that ensures better overall experience due to mechanic's knowledge & experience, spare parts availability, resale advantage, etc, etc.

Their Pulsars get updated, and that's a good thing, but their commuters just get replaced, resumed, stopped, renamed, etc, etc.
What possible benefits does a company derive from this?

Frankly, if I was a Bajaj's senior manager, I would choose a calm holiday, and sit with a piece of paper and pen, and then I'd jot down how my commuter product line should be, considering all factors.
And then I would stick to it for few years at least.

Anyways, wish Bajaj all the best with their "CT". Guys, do open the above link and check out the complete news, including CT's specs.

The good old one. Still I think Bajaj should be reviewing their product portfolio seriously(personal opinion). They seem to be confused about the market demands.

Nonsense move by Bajaj, doesn't make any sense at all. Rajiv bajaj was confident about exiting 100 cc segment but now they are on a launching spree in same segment.
Look at TVS star city Bajaj, that is how the move should be; improving a present product and making it much better.

Are you confusing Rajiv Bajaj? He will be confused that since he was confident that nobody would be ever thinking of photoshopping a Boxer into a Cafe Racer, he would be surprising the customers and hence gather handsome sales. Now, if we call that article as fake, he is bound to be confused
