New Bajaj Pulsar 200 and 180 Updated Version Launched | CarTradeIndia.com

if that report is anything to go by... i as a p200 owner am gonna be very very pissed if Bajaj have seriously decided to dilute the 200 brand further by giving the 180 a paste job and bring it to 200 looks/feature spec.

I'm sorry but i'd really feel cheated in someway if this is indeed what they're doing. I'd expect if they do the same to the 200 then the 220 owners might not like it.

More significantly, what the hell is Bajaj trying to do? A Hero Honda??

I do not think this will happen soon.

I wonder what Bajaj is thinking.... this would do more harm to them then probably it would do good to them!

I guess they want to bank on the ploy that 'worked' in P150 and P180, and now wants to repeat the same for P200 and P220... and P200 vs P180

Unlike that segment, the Target Audience in this segment knows thier bike... and thought looks really dont matter a lot to them, but trust me they would hate to see a P200 'posing' like a 220... you will end up frustrating your existing loyal customers...

I just hope all this was a dumb joke...and If this was true, then let the P220 get a major upgrade and all....!

Anyways...nothing personal..getting back to the topic..
NO...i never defended Yamaha when they were selling Gladiators or Crux...
Had they continued updating those models...i would have blasted them too..

But i dont really get the point of defending a brand just because , either we own one of those or we are just too hooked up to let go...

Common, appreciate the good work done by other companies and blast those who take us for a ride by giving us Sticker-job or fairing upgrades...

Anyways......best of luck to Bajaj for their upgrades...
Thats exactly what I was doing dude... I am as neutral to Bajaj as anyone else here.... For the records I kinda have had a bike from all the stables so the let go argument really doesnt work.

What I was saying is plain and simple, Bajaj has a reputation to fight back hard!

Maybe it was just a false alarm..

Err.. can anyone pm me is he has a saved "flv" copy of the supposed sting operation video..??

^^ I am not very sure about the 10 k thing but 1.5 k wont be suffice for the drum to disc conversion as number of parts will be required at the same time number of parts need to be replaced eg rear wheel.
