Fully-faired version of the Suzuki GixxerSuzukiYamaha Fazer and Honda CBR 150. The spied full-faired Gixxer motorcycle would be unchanged mechanically and would continue to use Gixxer's engine.
Earlier, there were reports that it would be using the SLK moniker, and would be christened as 'Suzuki Gixxer SLK', but now it seems that they were merely rumors as fresh reports says that it is named as GSX150R. It would be slotted at the top position in the company's 150cc segment and would be the flagship offering in the segment by Suzuki in India.
The Japanese autogiant Suzuki had launched the Gixxer in September 2014 in the country and since then it has been performing fairly good with its sales volumes. It has helped the company tremendously as in January and February of thsi year, it registered a growth in sales by 20 percent as compared to the same months in 2014. Suzuki Motorcycle India is expected to price the GSX150R in a price range of Rs. 80,000-90,000 (Ex. Showroom).
