    Suzuki decides to launch GSX S1000 and GSX S1000F in India by June 2015!

    Suzuki has decided to launch its recent flagships GSX S1000 and GSX S1000F in India by June!, Currently no Pricing has been confirmed but speculations are ranging between 11Lacks - 13Lacks. Below are the International Technical specs for the two machines, If the same will be for us is a question. a Very probable answer is yes since they may ending being CBU Imports like many other Suzuki products.       So the faired GSX is only 2 KG heavier than the naked GSX while at the opposite end of the displacement scale the faired Gixxer is 4 KG heavier than the naked one and the RS200 is a full 20 KG heavier than the 200 NS. Must be some lightweight expensive plastics in the big bikes.

        Only if they can price the naked version max 1.5_2 lakh above z800 ,otherwise till then , z will sell like hot cakes

          Shouldnt it be competing with the z1000, I dount it will be priced under 10L or just above it. The ex showrrom price itself will be 10L and upwards, may be, 899 price can come close to this. Already Z800 is selling like never before...i dont think there will any competition, not even from TNT 600i

            boycott these A-holes....i own a busa....u buy the bike paying 18 L ...get treated like dirt at their showrooms , no service back up , parts etc....what a waste...and finally the the arrogance of the company treating consumers like we have done them a favour by buying their bikes
            If you not living close to the edge ...... your taking up too much space

                Yes these will be competing with the Z1000 and the Ninja 1000. Competition is always good for the consumers

                As far as Z800 is concerned, It is a direct competitor to the striple, Monster 796/821. Benelli 600i fits in a different segment altogether i.e the Ninja/Er 650 territory. It having a lot of oomph factor to woo the Indian customer(read exhaust note), I foresee a lot of 600i sales in the coming future!

                  This is some good news for sure. But Suzuki needs to price it competitively. Cause the 899 and Z800 has already earned some attention!

                      The first batch of 10 of the nakeds have landed on May 5.

                      According to a Mumbai dealer this bike is priced ~10-15K lesser than a Z1000 on road.

                        Both bikes have been launched today. The naked is 12.25 lakh and the faired is 12.7 lakh, both being ex-showroom.
