Honestly, for that price, I'd get the much talked about Kawasaki Ninja H2. Besides, the R1 at 22L doesn't seem a good investment. Kawasaki Z800 is in all circumstances a better bet, for our Country roads.

That's a good point but you have to keep in mind, Kawasaki allotted 5 bikes for India, all 5 of which have been sold (even before the launch!), so It's pretty much impossible to get a H2 today.

Another point, there is a ton of new technology in this bike, almost everything has been tweaked or completely redone. This is the most tech laden bike to come out of Japan in recent times, that's why it commands a higher price tag.

I think the price is still acceptable (way out of my budget), especially if you think of the BMW S1000R (Naked) comes in at around the same money, while the S1000RR (2014) costs even more. This seems like a good deal to me.

        Cheers!
