BMW showcased its concept 101 last week at the . BMW along with Roland Sands Designs1649cc, 6 cylinder engine meant for relaxed and all day riding position.
Edgar Heinrich, Head of BMW Motorrad Design said:
101 cubic inch size. The bike was built at BMW Group subsidiary Designworks in Newbury Park, California. With plenty of low-end torque, the 6 cylinder engine is producing claimed 175 nm torque at 5250rpm. The dual exhaust with 3 chambers ensures the potential of 6 cylinder engine by making the sound audible appropriately.
Thanks to Roland Sand DesignsBMW Concept 101 is road ready, but when the prototype will turn into production is questionable. This would perfectly stand against the and few other Performance touring bike offerings from other manufactures as well.
