Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship was held at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore on 6th and 7th June 2015.
Day 1 Race Report, 6th June 2015 Saturday:
Deva Umapathy, a 20-year old mechanic from Chennai, rode brilliantly to win the Group D Novice (130cc) class race in the Championship on Saturday. Kannan K of TVS Racing made a poor start and went into the gravel at the first corner and again on the next lap to drop out of contention. Yashvin Kumar, who came 2nd behind Deva overtook Sivanesan of TVS Racing on the last lap.
Suzuki made their debut in the One-Make Championship with Suzuki Gixxer Cup had put up a great show with Abhishek V being the quickest in the open category with 1:23:461 timing while Amarnath Menon topped in Novice class.
In the Group D Novice 165cc, Kishore VS of Apex Racing claimed the pole spot while Kannan K of TVS Racing came 1st in Group D Novice 130cc.
