Bajaj currently manufacture motorcycles at three locations - Waluj plant makes the Platina, Discover and Boxer for export, Pantnagar plant manufactures the Platina and Discover while the Chakan plantNS, AS and RS series pulsars besides the existing 135cc, 150cc, 180cc and 220cc pulsars.
The new AS and RS series has begun to add the demand that Bajaj is once again seeing, and so there has been an 8 per cent rise in month-on-month sales since January this year.
The newly launched RS 200 has in fact seen a very strong market demand, resulting in a supply crunch.
