Bajaj has planned to introduce two new motorcycles brandsby 2017 in Indian two-wheeler industry.
Bajaj Auto, Pune based automobile major is planning to introduce new motorcycle brand which will sit in the 125cc – 150cc bracket and is expected to hit the market in financial year 2016. While the second brand will come in leisure segment expected to comes up with a 400cc engine which will be launched in financial year 2017.
Bajaj has already introduced five new products this year, two being in the 100cc commuter motorcycles (CT100 and the Platina ES) and the others being Pulsar AS150, AS200 and the RS200.
It is also expected that bajaj will now focus on new executive bike and premium categories bikes. The first is likely to be Adventure 180cc bike which falls under premium category below 200cc and will be launched in first half of financial year 2016.
After this Bajaj will also launch Super Sports version of 200cc as well which will be more track focused and different from existing RS200.
