Electric engines have already proven their worth, we might see such incredible machines rolling on the streets soon from Suzuki, if everything goes well.
From the revealed sketched its clearly visible that an electric motor is positioned right behind the cylinders of a classic in-line four engine, while the battery pack is located under the seat but it seems that the small dimensions of the electric mobility component depicted in the drawing only plays a minor role in the big picture. That is, it could serve as a clean and cheap way to navigate the city at a lower speed, and a much easier solution for stop-and-go traffic.
The same source images also mentions semi-automatic shifting as well, meaning that riders will be able to use a traditional foot lever that will electronically shifts gears. But, other photos also show a clutch lever too which could be a quick shifter system like MotoGP bikes where Premier class riders use clutch only when taking off and coming to a complete halt, while upshifting and downshifting are performed without touching the clutch.
